What is JEE Advanced?
JEE Advanced is an all India based engineering entrance exam which is conducted by Zonal 7 IITs every year for top 2.5 lakh JEE Main qualified students. On Successful in JEE Advanced, admission in IITs are provided.

How many students will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2025 Exam?

What are the eligibility criteria to appear in JEE Advanced 2025 Exam?

Academic Qualification: Passed in final examination of Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination in 2024. Those appearing in these examinations in 2025 can also appear in JEE (Advanced) – 2025 provisionally.

JEE Main performance cum Merit Rank: All the candidates aspiring to take admission in the undergraduate programmes at IITs and ISM Dhanbad for the year 2025 will have to appear in the Paper 1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main)-2025. Based on the performance in Paper 1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main)-2025, top 2,50,000 candidates (including all categories) will be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)-2025.

What is the JEE Advanced 2025 exam date?
JEE Advanced exam will be held on May 18, 2025. Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Candidates must attempt both papers to be eligible for admission to the IITs.

What is the JEE Advanced Exam Pattern?
JEE Advanced exam consists of two paper i.e. Paper one & Paper Two. Each Paper will further have three sections. There will be objective type & numerical answer type questions from each subject Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry.

Is there any negative marking in JEE Advanced Exam?
Yes, There will be a negative marking scheme for some of the questions. No Mark will be deducted for not attempting the question.

Is writing Paper-1 and Paper-2 in JEE (Advanced) 2025 compulsory?
Yes, it is compulsory. If a candidate is absent in one of the papers, then the candidate will be considered as absent in the examination.

Can I get JEE Advanced question paper in Hindi language?
Yes. JEE (Advanced) 2025 offers question papers in two languages: English and Hindi. Candidates have to choose the language option during the JEE (Advanced) 2025 registration.
