Being JEE 2016 candidates all of you will be busy for giving 12th board exam. There will be also those candidates who won’t get either good rank or clear JEE 2015. All of them are having one common question in their mind about their JEE 2016 performance. As you know that JEE 2016 will be taken in Two Parts i.e. JEE Main & JEE Advanced as previous year. - How well you have done in you 12th Board Exam: Since in the JEE it has been mentioned that for admission in IITs & NITs, the weightage of 12th class board exam will be an important factor. So, admission in IITs & NITs not only depends on JEE performance but also the performance in 12th Board exam as 40% weightage is given to board marks and 60% to the JEE-Main score. You must aware about this important point that before implementing this 12th board result weightage in year 2013, most of students used to focus only on JEE preparation & almost ignore 12th class (School Education) performance.
- Understand the Complete Exam Pattern: Most of the students aren’t aware of the exam pattern for which they are appearing. Due to this, their performance isn’t up to mark or they perform below average. Being JEE candidates, first of all you need to get complete details of JEE Exam Pattern & syllabus. It will be easier to understand the question type.
- Marking Scheme: It might possible that, beside enough practice & solving a good no. of questions, still you’re not getting good marks as expected. Ever you try to know why this is happening. This may be because, you don’t understand the JEE marking scheme completely & you’re trying to solve or answer all of the questions. Since there is negative marking in JEE & you have attempted even those questions, for which you are not confident. Due to this, marks has been deducted from your total marks arrived from your correct answers. The best practice you should maintain in the examination is that always attempt those questions, which you can answer correctly. One thing also important that you must know i.e. the marks allocation on each question. So after knowing the marking scheme, you will able to know that what you will get finally.
